I took this series on a trip to Boston (USA), at the beginning of November 2019. It was a freezing but sunny autumn day. While I was walking alongside a river, I suddenly realised that the trees reflected in a very mystic way in the river. I switched my camera into manual focus and experimented until I got a blurry but yet sharp image that resembled a painting rather than a photograph. It was only possible due to the slight wind that created not too few and not too many tiny squared waves on the river. Combined with the wonderful autumn colours and the blurriness thanks to manual focus, I was able to capture these images that, in my opinion, resemble in its style the French impressionist paintings.
